Psalm 150
This psalm of praise has been interpreted by different people to mean different things. In its purest form it is simply advocating praise of God in whatever form or fashion the worshipper desires. Different denominations have used it to terrorize others with their overindulgence in writhing and shouting and yelling and screaming. Others have held disdain for those who engage in such worship practices. In its basic form, it is inciting the praise of God in all places and at all times. God deserves no less because of His constancy and reliability. It behooves us not to get distracted from the real issues and misinterpret and overindulge. The scriptures say that the whole business of humanity is to serve God and keep His commandments. Let us at least start at the beginning. Praise begins at home.
