2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Some of us are at the time of our lives where we see our peers just passing away one by one. We may be fearful of growing old. Perhaps we fear because we see our own mortality disintegrating before our very eyes. As we age, things begin to change. We feel more aches and pains and are more prone to diseases. Our pace slows down. While we need to get to the point where we appreciate that our time here is limited, we must not dwell too much on that. Our business is to live life to the fullest because it is a gift from God. Let us not join the frenzy to stave off aging but rather let us age gracefully. When Jesus shall have returned we shall be clothed anew. We shall have new bodies to occupy the new heaven and earth. The song writer says we shall have new names in that land-in that sunny land. What a joy it will be!
