Psalm 118: 24
This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. NRSV
We have lived to see yet another day. Isn’t that a great thing? Yes, God is good. Someone once said, ‘Even with our eyes open, we sometimes go through our days as if we’re sleepwalking. These are the only days we have; we need to be aware of them’. These are poignant words and we need to be reminded over and over again because so soon we forget. So, on this day that the LORD has given me, I will be glad!
